Education and Qualifications: NVQ4, NVQ5, Certificate and Diploma in Management. MBA (Management Consultancy) from Sheffield Hallam, Post Grad Diploma in Competiton Law (Kings College), Post Grad Diploma in Compliance and Regulation (International Compliance Association).
Lecturing: Tim has taught on a number of Chartered Management Institute workshops and professional evening classes over the years.

Profession: Tim was educated at Victoria College and after a short period in the Army Tim returned to Jersey to join
Touche Ross as a would-be accountant. He quickly became more interested in computers in a career that included writing fund management software and Head of
Technology for a large retail group. Tims projects grew bigger, culminating as project manager for the Privatization of the Post Office and set-up of the
Competition Regulator. During this period he gained an NVQ4 & 5, Diploma and MBA as well as PostGrad qualifications in Competition Law and Compliance, all
through distance learning. Whilst with Royal Bank of Scotland International, he took his Applied Diploma in Corporate Banking.
He is also a Chartered member of the British Computer Society.
Interests:
Tim works as a Business Services Manager (responsible for IT, Property, Vehicle Fleet, H&S and Facilities) but maintains a passion for learning and teaching,
and has worked with the Jersey Business School on a variety of programs.
Other Interests and Hobbies: Tim is also a keen sportsman having competed in Triathlon at the Island Games, World Championships, and Commonwealth Games.
He has also competed at Ironman (3.8km swim, 112mile bike and 26mile marathon) and is a regular in the Jersey Marathon. His current passion is rowing,
having placed amongst the best of Jersey in the Sark to Jersey and Gorey to Carteret in his first year (2008),
he placed 17th in the World Coastal Rowing Champs 2009, and came 4th of the Masters (over 40s) and 1st GB Boat.
He is now focussed on 2010 World Championships. He is also a sports coach/instructor and organizes and participates in multi-disciplined Adventure Races.
